1. Agreement Overview
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings made with Innovation Tours Inc. (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By making a booking, you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms on behalf of yourself and all travelers on the booking and confirm you have authority to do so. The lead traveler is financially responsible for the entire booking.
2. Legal Compliance (California Seller of Travel)
Innovation Tours Inc. is registered as a Seller of Travel in California (CST 2161648-40) under California Business & Professions Code 17550 et seq. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California. California law provides a Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) for certain eligible California residents; eligibility and claim procedures are described by the California Attorney General. See https://oag.ca.gov/travel for details.
Non California residents are not eligible to make a claim to the TCRF.
3. Payments & Deposits (USD)
A non refundable deposit of 10% of the total booking price is due at the time of booking. Full payment is due 45 days prior to departure unless otherwise stated in writing. Bookings made within 45 days of departure require full payment at booking. All prices are quoted and payable in U.S. Dollars (USD). Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation and forfeiture of amounts paid.
4. Booking Confirmation & Documentation
A binding contract is formed when we issue a Booking Confirmation. Review all documents and notify us of any errors within 5 business days. Later corrections may not be possible
5. Pricing Policy
Prices may change prior to confirmation. After confirmation, prices may only increase if directly attributable to new/changed government taxes or fees, park/port fees, or fuel surcharges. No price increase will be applied within 20 days of departure.
6. Client Cancellations
Cancellations must be submitted in writing via email to support@innovationtours.tours and are effective upon receipt.
The following charges apply:
- > 60 days: 10% deposit is non-refundable
- 59–31 days: 40% of total booking cost is non-refundable
- ≤ 30 days: 100% of total booking cost is non-refundable
No refunds for no shows or unused services.
We strongly recommend travel insurance (see §12).
7. Company Cancellations
We may cancel for reasons including, without limitation, insufficient enrollment, safety concerns, force majeure, or non payment.
- > 35 days before departure: full refund of amounts paid to us.
- ≤ 35 days: full refund or an alternative trip (price differences adjusted).
We are not liable for incidental expenses you incur independently (e.g., visas, separately purchased airfare).
8. Client Changes
Change requests must be sent by the lead traveler in writing. All changes are subject to availability, supplier terms, and an admin fee of $75 per person per change, plus any supplier imposed fees. Changes within 30 days of departure may be treated as cancellations.
9. Company Changes
We may make minor operational changes (e.g., order of itinerary, equivalent/higher standard hotel, activity timing) as needed for safety or logistics—these do not entitle you to a refund. If a significant change occurs (e.g., destination change or material downgrade), you may accept the change, choose an offered alternative of equal/greater value, or cancel for a full refund.
10. Force Majeure (Events Beyond Our Control)
We are not liable for delays/failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics/pandemics, war, terrorism, civil unrest, strikes, government actions, or extreme weather.
11. Entry, Health & Travel Requirements
You are solely responsible for complying with passport, visa, vaccination, health, and entry requirements for your destinations and transit points. No refunds will be issued if you are denied boarding/entry or removed from a country for noncompliance.
12. Mandatory Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is required and must cover, at minimum: trip cancellation/interruption/delay; emergency medical & evacuation; baggage loss/delay; personal liability. Provide proof of coverage before departure. Travelers without valid coverage may be refused participation without refund.
13. Client Responsibilities & Conduct
You must follow local laws, respect cultural norms, comply with safety instructions, and maintain respectful conduct. We may remove—without refund—any traveler whose behavior is illegal, unsafe, or materially disruptive. You are responsible for any damage you cause to property or third parties.
14. Third Party Suppliers
Some services (e.g., hotels, transport, activities) are provided by independent suppliers subject to their own terms/conditions, which will apply to you. We are not responsible for acts/omissions of independent suppliers except where required by law.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: our aggregate liability arising out of or related to your booking shall not exceed the amounts you paid to us for the affected services; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages. These limits do not apply to damages caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct or where otherwise prohibited by law.
16. Complaints & Support
If an issue arises during travel, notify your guide/supplier immediately and contact our support team so we can assist. 24/7
Assistance: +1 (213) 772-0605 (or the emergency number in your travel documents)
Post trip complaints: email support@innovationtours.tours within 30 days of return, including your booking reference and supporting documentation
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. All disputes shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California, and the parties consent to such jurisdiction and venue.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with your Booking Confirmation and written itinerary (if any), constitute the entire agreement between you and Innovation Tours Inc. and supersede any prior understandings relating to its subject matter.
